09 Ott A sparkling destination wedding in the Tuscan hills
Sam and Steve the most sparkling destination wedding
Sam and Steve always dreamed a wedding in Tuscany, surrounded by lush landscapes, family and friends. They decided for a small villa nestled in the rolling hills of Florence.
The villa had the typical rustic character but with a twist. All the accommodations and the exteriors, were restored using the Tuscan colors and style. Gardens and the exteriors, had that fascinating vibe that was the perfect place for a sparkling destination wedding.
The Flowers
The rural classy style was the theme of the day. Nothing too extravagant but all the decors were perfectly studied to match the architecture and the fascinating style of the villa. The grey, white and green palette was reflected in all the decoration, from ceremony to dinner.
Elegant simplicity was the main theme of this sparkling destination wedding. A simple chuppah with a modern twist was used for the ceremony matched with the massive greens used for the chairs. The table was a sparkle of gold candelabras, elegant flowers, such as anemones, and greenery.
The bouquet of the bride was something out of the ordinary! Made with anemones and plenty of greenery it really stands out. Anemones and greenery were used for the buttonholes and the accessories.
All the wedding stationary was personally designed by Sam. Programs, menus and escort cards perfectly catch the sparkling destination wedding mood.
The Dress & Attire
The bride, a true style hunter, opted for a silk backless dress from Galvan London. As a designer and fashion stylist, Samantha to added a modern twist to her hairstyle. Using some pearl bobby pins from Jennifer Behr.
Like matching couple, also steve is a real fashion addicted. He had his suit personally designed by Balani. The inside of the jacked had a view of Florence as pattern.
The sparkling destination wedding day
A beauty team come onsite the villa in the early morning to start the make up and hair for Sam and her bridesmaids.
The place where the ceremony was held was a true spectacular example of countryside garden. With roses flower bed and central stone part covered by climbing plants. During the ceremony, they decided to incorporate some Jewish rituals in the ceremony to honour their roots. A family friend was the officiant of the day. No better choice, the service was fun, romantic and touching.
After the ceremony, while this lovely couple was in the olive groves to take some intimate pictures, the aperitif was served in the garden. During the aperitif the guests were surprised by Sam and steve with the arrival a true fiat 500 prosecco bar during the aperitif.
Nothing was too formal. Sam and Steve wanted our guests to feel like they were enjoying a fun evening in the comfort of a friend’s home but with truly Italian good food.
On the panoramic terrace overlooking the rolling hills, was served the Italian wedding meal. The area was illuminated by an old huge iron chandelier. This intimate group had so much fun during the dinner, between Italian delicacies and romantic speeches.
After the cut of the cake, this amazing crew ended the day dancing under the stars. All the guests were so relaxed and enjoyed the day from the start to the end.
