After getting engaged in Florence on the edges of Pontevecchio, Shu and Kevin knew in their hearts they wanted an Italian destination wedding. They wanted something that reflected their personal history as a couple and their romantic moments. An elegant wedding in Florence was their choice.
The Destination & Venue
Shu and Kevin knew from the beginning that we wanted a cozy wedding. The venue was one of the key point, something classy but not showy. After travelling for half Tuscany, the couple find their perfect match with Villa le Fontanelle. A small elegant boutique hotel in the hills of Florence. The deep love for each other helped them to create a day that was elegant, meaningful and personal.
The Dress & Attire
A timeless lace dress in all its elegant simplicity. A sweetheart mermaid wedding gown. Shu simply looked beautiful and herself in this wedding gown. The material was stunning, lace appliqués accented with rich crystal and beaded details, it worked really well with the hot temperature during the day.
Kevin wore a classic a sharp fit close to the body smoking, classy and elegant but suitable for an outdoor wedding
The Flowers and décor
This wedding is absolutely overflowed of creativity when is time to talk about florals. With the lushest floral arch you’ve ever seen as the ceremony backdrop. It was grand, elegant and full of colours. At the beginning of the aisle, two big vases were placed to enhance one more time the spectacular vibe of this elegant wedding in Florence.
the colour scheme was brilliant and modern. A full blossom of colours combined with the grace of gold vases, candles and tableware. A touch love to the guest, a single flowers was placed on each napkin as a welcome touch. Everything was fresh, natural and pretty to suit a beautiful elegant wedding in Florence.

Shu decide to get ready for her elegant wedding in Florence, by herself, away from all the crowded confusion of all the guests. The natural look chosen by the bride, enhanced her delicate face’s lines. The updo style of the hair was underlined by sweet baby breath. the style was completely in line with elegant wedding in Florence.

The personal couple’s vows were exchange during the ceremony. Everything was thoughtful and meaningful. A friend of the couple declared them husband and wife among family and friends.
For cocktail hour, guests enjoyed two Italian cocktails, Spritz and Hugo along with Italian delicacies. Cheese, cold cuts, variety of canapees were served while the couple took some intimate pictures. Guests took home a small bottle of truffle Volterra sault, a memory from Tuscany.
The gorgeous tablescapes and vibrant local food from Rolands. showcased the bounty of Tuscany. Everything was perfect for this elegant wedding in Florence. Initially a cake wasn’t in the desires of the couple, they did put a lot of focus on the menu – a 3 course feast. However, after seeing a live show of the traditional Italian wedding cake, it became a must have. The guests really enjoyed that moment.
The dancing took place in the fireplace room. It was full of character with grand chandeliers and fireplaces. A Dj played all night long and the open bar was at complete disposal of the guests.
