20 Ago An organic wedding in Tuscany
Hannah e Tomas and their organic wedding.
An organic wedding is romantic and infused of accents from nature. It reflects the love of the couple for the natural world and at the same time it has a deep sweet simplicity. Hannah and Tomas, fall in love with the Tuscan Countryside.
The amazing venue of Borgo Castelvecchio was the perfect fit for their organic wedding.
They wanted a countryside place able to host families and friends, a venue where to spend 4 days with their beloved, share with them time together and plan fun activities in the nature. From the floral to the dinner, everything was so delicate and clean, with the surrounding nature enhancing the details.
Tomas and Hannah planned so many fun activities during their stay, such as a fishing trip to a pond, a pic-nic in the woods and a bike sightseen tour of the villages nearby.
The Florals
Although there is the feeling that organic weddings have just a few colors in their color scheme, it’s not! Taking from the nature the lead colors, such as the hearty tones, is possible to play to with all the neutral shades and stroger hues.
The bride wanted something cohesive with the surrounding, hence, she decided to go with soft and airy vibes expressed by a white and green color’ s combination. The idea was to have the true nature of Castelvecchi stand out.
The bridal bouquet was a stunning piece of a wild composition. Made with white peonies, English roses and rose mixed with olive’s branches. The bride didn’t have bridesmaids, indeed she had three flowers crown made for her three little kids.
Taking place in the garden, the ceremony was completely surrounded by natural plants, trees and flowers like every perfect organic wedding. Touches of non-intrusive white and greens were places all around the gazebo and small bouquets of olive’s branches were adorning the chairs.
The naturalism of all the florals was subtle and gentle, proving a refined simplicity to the mood of the wedding day.
The Dress & Attire
The bridal gown was the true wow factor of the wedding day. A stunning modern two-piece gown paired with a silver stiletto decolte. The top, with all the buttons on the back, was made by a delicate lace with a super romantic patter, a mixture of florals and symbols. The nude look of the back combined perfectly with the two layers of the skirt.
A first one made on silk and a second one made of the same lace of the top. Hannah was truly beautiful. Tomas wore a black suit with a neutral tie, to be in line with the colors of the wedding.
The wedding day
Getting ready was one of the funniest parts of the day. Respectively Hannah and Tomas decide to get ready in two separate rooms but with their friends. This lovely couple decided to share this intimate moment with closest friends, taking the time to chat with them and in some cases playing some pre wedding convivial games.
They opted for a first look with their kids in the corridors of the villa and to walk down the aisle all together.
The ceremony was simple but thoughtful, it expresses all the love and the amusing feeling of this couple, not only one to each other, but also towards their kids.
Meanwhile the couple took some private time for some portraits in the surroundings, the guests were happy to enjoy the aperitif under the big three of the gardens.
Due to the weather, dinner was served inside, but this didn’t stop the cheerful vibe of the wedding. The aperitif, the dinner and dancing were a continuous of games, laughing, unexpected speeches and words of love.
This organic wedding was all about laughing, dancing, friendship and love. Everyone had such a great time and I’m sure they will be back for a huge family and friends’ reunion.
